What is the Lexus UX?
The UX is Lexus’s compact crossover, with a five-door body and a city-friendly size. It was designed as an entry point to the brand’s SUV range. When Lexus introduced it, the UX became the first model in the lineup built on the GA-C platform.
The first generation (ZA10) began in 2019 and continues today. Powertrains have included hybrid, petrol and battery-electric versions, with plug-in hybrids appearing in EU figures. The range varies by market and year.
Engines and power
The listed engine size is 2.0 litres across these markets. EU figures span 57 kW (77 PS) to 150 kW (204 PS), while UK figures span 112 kW (152 PS) to 204 kW (277 PS). These ranges cover different versions and powertrains.
The UX 250h paired a 2.0-litre petrol engine with a hybrid system. Battery-electric versions have also been offered in some markets.
How economical is the Lexus UX?
The lowest listed EU consumption is 5.2 L/100 km on WLTP. The UK low is 5 L/100 km, also on WLTP. These figures may apply to different versions.
The lowest US figure is 5.5 L/100 km, or 43 MPG combined, on the EPA test. Canada’s lowest listed figure is 5.6 L/100 km on the 5-cycle test. WLTP, EPA and Canada’s 5-cycle procedure differ, so figures across markets are not directly equivalent.
Where was the Lexus UX sold?
The UX appears in official figures for the EU, UK, United States and Canada. EU registrations cover 2019–2025 and total 134,213. The 2.0-litre hybrid rated at 112 kW (152 PS) was the leading version in each listed year from 2019 to 2021. UK figures cover 2019–2025, while US and Canadian figures span 2019–2026.
