What is the Nissan GT-R?

The GT-R is Nissan’s high-performance sports car. Its modern R35 generation was introduced as a Nissan GT-R in its own right, rather than as a Skyline. The R35 combines a twin-turbo V6 with a dual-clutch transmission and an independent transaxle four-wheel-drive system.

The R35 arrived in Europe in 2007 and in the United States and Canada in 2009. Its low sports-car profile and advanced drivetrain give it a distinctive place at the sporting end of Nissan’s range.
