What is the Škoda Scala?

The Scala is a compact five-door hatchback that joined Škoda’s range in 2019. It pairs a conventional hatchback shape with the passenger space and everyday practicality the brand is known for. The 2023 update refined its styling and equipment, and brought newer TSI engines. Its extended rear window remains a distinctive design feature.

The Scala shares the Volkswagen Group’s MQB-A0 platform with the Kamiq. The two compact models received revised front and rear styling in the 2023 update.

Generations

The Scala has one generation: Generation I (2019–today). The 2023 update refreshed the original car rather than introducing a new generation.
