What is the Lincoln Navigator?

The Navigator is Lincoln’s full-size luxury SUV, with three rows of seats and room for passengers and luggage. It is the brand’s flagship SUV, suited to people who want a spacious vehicle for family trips and everyday travel.

Lincoln launched the Navigator in 1998, entering the large luxury SUV market. Five generations have followed, with the latest beginning in 2025.

Navigator generations and engines

The first generation ran from 1998 to 2002, the second from 2003 to 2006, and the third from 2007 to 2017. The fourth followed from 2018 to 2024, and the fifth began in 2025.
