What is the Jaguar F-Pace?
The F-Pace is Jaguar’s first SUV, bringing the marque’s design into a taller body with more room for passengers and luggage. Its styling draws on the F-Type, while its place in the range gives Jaguar an SUV alongside its saloons.
F-Pace generation
The first-generation F-Pace (X761) began in 2017 and is listed through 2026 in US and Canadian figures. It remains the model’s only generation. Jaguar added a plug-in hybrid version during the generation, broadening the range of powertrains.
Engines and power
The EU range includes petrol, diesel, hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions, with engine sizes from 2.0 L to 5.0 L. Power ranges from 120 kW (163 PS) to 405 kW (551 PS). The UK range reaches the same power maximum. US figures include petrol, hybrid and diesel versions; Canadian figures list petrol and diesel.
How economical is the Jaguar F-Pace?
The lowest listed EU consumption for non-plug-in versions is 5.4 L/100 km on WLTP. The plug-in hybrid’s weighted WLTP figure is 1.8 L/100 km, assuming part of the driving is electric. The UK minimum is 4.8 L/100 km on NEDC. The USA EPA figure is 8.1 L/100 km, or 29 MPG combined, and Canada’s 5-cycle figure is also 8.1 L/100 km. Test procedures differ: Europe uses WLTP or NEDC, the USA uses EPA, and Canada uses the 5-cycle test.
Where was the F-Pace sold?
Official figures list the F-Pace in the EU, UK, USA and Canada. EU registrations span 2015–2025 and total 219,810. The leading listed EU configurations were 2.0 L diesel versions rated at 132 kW (179 PS), with the highest annual totals in 2016, 2017 and 2018.
