What is the Chevrolet Silverado EV?

The Silverado EV is an all-electric pickup in Chevrolet’s truck range. It carries the Silverado name into an electric era, with a four-door cab and a cargo bed that can be extended into the cabin using the available Multi-Flex Midgate. It also has a front storage compartment, known as the eTrunk.

Generation and design

The first generation began in 2024 and continues today. Chevrolet designed the Silverado EV as an electric truck, with a front storage compartment and a Midgate that opens to extend the load area. Available four-wheel steering helps the truck maneuver at low speeds and when trailering.

Engines, power and efficiency

The Silverado EV uses electric drive rather than a petrol or diesel engine. Canadian figures list power from 377 kW (513 PS) to 381 kW (518 PS).

Where was it sold?

Official US EPA and Canadian NRCan figures cover the Silverado EV from 2024 to 2026. The two markets use different testing and rating systems, so their figures should be read separately.
