What is the Suzuki Swace?

The Swace is a compact estate, or station wagon, for drivers who want a practical family car with a long load area. It joined Suzuki’s European range as a hybrid estate alongside the brand’s crossovers and small cars.

The Swace was developed through Suzuki’s collaboration with Toyota and is related to the E210-generation Toyota Corolla estate. Its conventional five-door shape and hybrid powertrain give it a different character from Suzuki’s SUV-focused models.

Generation and design

The Swace has one listed generation, beginning in 2020. Its E210 code places it within the same generation as the related Corolla. Suzuki added the estate to its European line-up through its partnership with Toyota.

The wagon broadened Suzuki’s European choice beyond SUVs and hatchbacks. Its long roof and versatile load area suit everyday passenger use and carrying luggage.

Engines, power and fuel consumption

The EU range from 2020 to 2025 uses a 1.8 L engine, with listed power from 53 kW (72 PS) to 72 kW (98 PS). EU entries include hybrid, petrol and plug-in hybrid labels. UK versions from 2020 to 2024 are hybrid, with a 1.8 L engine and power from 72 kW (98 PS) to 102 kW (139 PS).

The lowest EU consumption for petrol, diesel or hybrid versions is 3.6 L/100 km on WLTP. The UK figure is 4.4 L/100 km, also on WLTP. The EU plug-in hybrid figure is 3.4 L/100 km WLTP, a weighted result that assumes some driving is electric.

Where was the Swace sold?

Suzuki introduced the Swace for Europe through its collaboration with Toyota. EU registration figures cover 2020–2025, UK figures cover 2020–2024, and France has a hybrid entry for 2026.
