What is the Renault Modus?

The Modus is a small, tall-sided hatchback with the practical feel of a mini MPV. Renault placed it alongside the Clio in its small-car range, with an upright cabin and a compact shape suited to everyday town driving. Its single generation, the Modus (X77), ran from 2004 to 2012.

Renault also offered the Grand Modus, a longer-bodied version. The Modus’s higher roof and upright seating gave it a different feel from a conventional small hatchback.
