What is the Lotus Emeya?

The Emeya is a four-door electric grand tourer, which Lotus calls a Hyper-GT. It brings the marque’s sports-car character into a roomier shape, with space for passengers and a cabin designed around the driver. Active aerodynamic features and an electronically controlled air suspension are part of its modern approach to the grand touring car.

The first generation, Type 133, dates from 2024. It is the first Emeya generation.

Engines and power

The Emeya is electric. In EU registration figures, the range centres on a 450 kW (612 PS) version. UK figures cover outputs from 450 kW (612 PS) to 675 kW (918 PS), and the higher output also appears in the EU registrations.

How economical is the Lotus Emeya?

The Emeya has no petrol or diesel consumption figure because it is electric. EU registration figures cover four versions from 2024 to 2025, while UK figures cover four versions in 2026. These are market and registration figures, not energy-use ratings from a named test cycle.

Where was the Lotus Emeya sold?

EU registrations totalled 266 across 2024 and 2025. The 450 kW (612 PS) version led the listed registrations in both years, while a 675 kW (918 PS) version also appears in the 2024 figures. UK figures cover the model in 2026.
