Who is Lamborghini?

Automobili Lamborghini is an Italian carmaker based in Sant’Agata Bolognese, near Bologna. Founded by Ferruccio Lamborghini in 1963, it became part of the Audi Group within Volkswagen Group in 1998. The marque is known for dramatic design and high-performance sports cars, from the Miura and Countach to today’s models.

What Lamborghini models are listed?

The range spans two kinds of car: low-slung supercars and the Urus, a high-performance SUV. The models listed run from the Countach, covered here from 1984 to 1990, through the Diablo, Murciélago, Gallardo, Aventador and Huracán, to the newer Revuelto, Temerario and Urus. The limited-run Veneno also appears.

The Urus has the largest count in official EU registration figures among these models, with 10,476 registrations from 2018 to 2025. The Huracán follows with 8,873 from 2014 to 2025, then the Aventador with 4,778 from 2011 to 2022. These figures give a sense of the SUV’s place alongside Lamborghini’s familiar supercar lines.

How has the range changed over time?

The succession of names shows how Lamborghini refreshed its central supercar line over the years: Countach, Diablo, Murciélago, Aventador and Revuelto. The Gallardo and Huracán formed another prominent line, while the Urus brought the brand into the SUV class in 2018. The Temerario joins the more recent range as another supercar name.

The periods shown overlap because model years in the listing can extend beyond a model’s main run. For example, the Diablo is listed from 1990 to 2014, while the Aventador runs from 2011 to 2026. The Gallardo is listed from 2004 to 2015, and the Huracán from 2014 to 2025.

Where are Lamborghini cars covered, and what about electrification?

Official figures for Lamborghini appear across the European Union, the United Kingdom, France, the United States and Canada. European measurements use WLTP or, for older cars, NEDC; the USA uses EPA procedures and Canada uses a five-cycle test. Because those procedures differ, consumption and emissions figures are best read within each market’s own test system.

The newer names also mark a shift towards electrification. Revuelto is a hybrid supercar, and Lamborghini introduced a plug-in hybrid version of the Urus. Those models show electrified power entering both the supercar and SUV sides of the range.
