Who is Dacia?

Dacia is a Romanian car maker that became part of Renault Group in 1999. The brand dates back to 1968; its modern European range took shape with the Logan, launched in 2004. Dacia’s cars have traditionally focused on practical, straightforward everyday transport.

The range spans small hatchbacks, family cars and SUVs, as well as the all-electric Spring. In official EU registration figures, Sandero and Duster are the two most registered Dacia models in the period shown.

Dacia model range

Sandero is the small hatchback, with a listed run from 2010 to 2026. Logan is a saloon listed from 2010 to 2025, while the Logan MCV estate runs from 2010 to 2023.

Duster is the SUV, listed from 2010 to 2026. Lodgy, a people carrier, runs from 2012 to 2026, while the van-style Dokker is listed from 2012 to 2021. Jogger joined the range in 2021, bringing family-car practicality in a raised, crossover-like shape. Bigster arrived in 2025 as a larger SUV.

How has the range changed?

Dacia’s range has grown from its Sandero, Logan and Duster lines to include vehicles for carrying more passengers and cargo. Lodgy and Dokker added people-carrier and van-style options. Jogger later brought a family-car layout with a raised stance, while Bigster extended the SUV range.

Spring, listed from 2020, added an all-electric city car to a range that also includes combustion-engine models.

Where can you find Dacia figures?

Dacia figures are available for European Union registrations, the United Kingdom and France. European cars may be measured under WLTP or the older NEDC procedure; the USA uses EPA testing and Canada uses the 5-cycle procedure. Results from these different tests should be understood within their own markets.

From 2010 to 2025, Sandero recorded 4,558,051 EU registrations and Duster recorded 3,788,443. Logan followed with 1,122,675. Lodgy recorded 500,409 from 2012 to 2023, and Dokker recorded 484,746 from 2012 to 2021. Jogger recorded 271,860 and Spring 214,568 from 2020 to 2025; Bigster recorded 62,164 in 2025.
