What is the Dacia Lodgy?
The Lodgy is a compact MPV designed around family space. Dacia introduced it in 2012 as its first model of this type, with a choice of five or seven seats. Its upright shape and flexible cabin made it suited to carrying passengers and everyday luggage.
The first generation, identified by the code JS, ran from 2012 to 2022. The Lodgy brought a larger family vehicle to Dacia’s range, which also included the Logan, Sandero and Duster.
Engines and power
Across European Union registration figures for 2012–2023, Lodgy engines ranged from 1.2 L to 1.6 L, with power from 60 kW (82 PS) to 120 kW (163 PS). Fuel choices included diesel, petrol, LPG, flex fuel E85 and other classifications.
French ADEME figures for 2012–2026 list 1.5 L engines producing 59 kW (80 PS) to 85 kW (116 PS), with diesel, petrol and LPG options.
Fuel consumption and registrations
The lowest listed consumption is 4.6 L/100 km in EU figures, measured on WLTP. In France, the lowest figure is 4.2 L/100 km on NEDC. WLTP and NEDC are different European test procedures, so the figures are best considered within their own market and test context.
European Union registrations total 500,409 over 2012–2023. Among the most registered configurations were 1.5 L diesel versions.
