What is the Citroën Xsara?
The Xsara is a compact family car that came as a three-door or five-door hatchback and as the Xsara Break estate. The hatchback offered everyday practicality, while the estate added room for luggage. The related Xsara Picasso was a people carrier, rather than another Xsara body style.
Presented in 1997, the Xsara followed the ZX and was later succeeded by the C4. It combined several family-car body styles under one name.
