What is the ALPINA B4?

The ALPINA B4 is a petrol grand tourer based on the BMW 4 Series. The F32 family came as a coupé, convertible or four-door Gran Coupé, with ALPINA’s own engineering and detailing across the range.

ALPINA, based in Buchloe, Germany, built its identity around developing and refining BMW models. The B4 carried that approach into a choice of fixed-roof, open-top and four-door forms.

Generations and engines

The B4 based on the BMW 4 Series F32 family ran from 2014 to 2019. Its body codes were F32 for the coupé, F33 for the convertible and F36 for the Gran Coupé. The EU petrol range had two recorded versions, with a 3.0-litre engine producing 301 kW (409 PS).
