What is the Suzuki Equator?

The Equator was a mid-size pickup truck sold under Suzuki’s badge in North America. It offered an open cargo bed and a choice of extended or crew cab. Based on Nissan’s Frontier and built by Nissan, it gave Suzuki a pickup for its North American range.

The Equator was adapted for Suzuki from Nissan’s truck, rather than developed from the ground up by Suzuki.
