What is the MG3?
The MG3 is a small hatchback suited to town driving and everyday errands, with space for passengers and luggage. It gives MG a presence in the small-car market, and has been offered with petrol and hybrid power in Europe.
MG began as Morris Garages in Oxford in 1924, building its identity around sportier cars. The MG3 carries the badge into the small-car market. Its latest generation brought hybrid power to a model previously offered in Europe as a petrol hatchback.
MG3 generations
The second-generation MG3 was sold from 2013 to 2023. The third generation arrived in 2024 with MG’s Hybrid+ system, adding a non-plug-in hybrid option to the model.
