What is the Maserati Karif?
The Karif is a compact coupé from Maserati’s Biturbo family, designed for two people and longer journeys. Presented in 1988, it was based on the shortened chassis of the Biturbo Spyder. Maserati removed the rear seats to create extra luggage space behind the front seats.
The Biturbo family carried Maserati’s performance focus into several body styles. The Karif gave that approach a more focused form, combining a fixed roof and two-seat layout with the family’s twin-turbo character.
