What is the Mahindra XUV 500?

The XUV 500 is a family-sized SUV. Mahindra described it as its first indigenously developed monocoque SUV, with the body and platform integrated into one structure.

Mahindra began as a steel trading company in 1945 and entered vehicle manufacturing with utility vehicles. The XUV 500 brought that SUV focus to a more road-oriented format, with design inspired by a cheetah.
