What is the DR 30?

The DR 30 is a compact SUV from DR Automobiles, an Italian carmaker whose range spans small cars and SUVs. The company’s early models drew on vehicles from Chinese manufacturers, adapted for sale under DR’s own name in Italy.

DR Automobiles debuted in 2006, and its first production car was the DR 5 SUV. The DR 30 appears in EU registration figures for 2023, with two versions recorded.

Engines and power

The DR 30’s EU versions use a 1.5-litre engine rated at 86 kW (117 PS). They were offered with petrol or LPG, which lets the car run on either fuel. LPG accounts for most of the model’s EU registrations: 1,722 of 1,851, compared with 129 for petrol.

Fuel consumption and CO₂

The lowest listed official consumption is 7.4 L/100 km on the WLTP test. That figure is identified for petrol, diesel and hybrid versions, so it should not be read as a specific LPG rating.
