Turn on red permitted (green arrow)

Turn on red permitted (green arrow)

A turn in the indicated direction is permitted on red after stopping and giving way.

A conditional green arrow permits a turn in its direction while the main signal remains red. Stop before turning and give way to other traffic and pedestrians. The permission applies only to the indicated movement.

Germany uses a fixed green arrow on a black panel beside the red light. Poland uses a separate illuminated green arrow together with the red signal. These conditional arrows differ from ordinary green-arrow signals, which release traffic in the indicated direction.

How it looks in each country

Official sign in each country; the code is its number in the national rules. Signs that come in two directions show the left and the right version.
