Parking

Parking place or area.

The sign identifies a place where parking is permitted or directs drivers towards it. Arrows can show the direction or extent of the parking area. Additional information may specify times, vehicle types or other conditions.

The Vienna Convention E,14a model is a blue square showing a white P. The United States’ R7-23 is a white rectangle with a green border and a black P inside a green circle. It also shows the permitted parking times.

How it looks in each country

Official sign in each country; the code is its number in the national rules. Signs that come in two directions show the left and the right version.
