What is the Fiat Ulysse?
The Fiat Ulysse is a large people carrier designed to carry passengers in a flexible cabin. Earlier generations were part of a joint MPV project between Fiat and PSA. The Ulysse returned in 2022 as a passenger-focused van, with electric and diesel versions.
Ulysse generations
Generation I (code 220) ran from 2000 to 2002. Generation II (code 179) followed from 2002 to 2010. Generation III (codes K0 and 507) arrived in 2022 and continues today. The current generation is offered as an electric vehicle as well as with diesel power.
Engines and power
The EU range includes 2.0- to 2.2-litre engines, with power from 57 kW (77 PS) to 130 kW (177 PS), as well as electric versions. UK versions in the VCA figures use petrol or diesel engines from 2.0 to 2.2 litres. The most registered EU configuration was the 2.0-litre diesel rated at 130 kW (177 PS) in 2025, with earlier 2.0-litre diesels also prominent.
How economical is the Fiat Ulysse?
The lowest listed consumption is 7.3 L/100 km on the WLTP test for the EU range and 6.7 L/100 km on the NEDC test for UK versions. These figures use different procedures, so they are not direct like-for-like measures. In official EU registration figures, 5,158 Ulysses were registered from 2010 to 2025; the UK VCA figures cover 2000 to 2004.
