Who is DFSK?

DFSK is a Chinese marque whose name comes from Dongfeng Sokon. It began as a joint venture between Dongfeng Motor and Sokon, a Chongqing-based manufacturer. Sokon later became Seres Group. DFSK makes passenger vehicles and light commercial vehicles; Fengon is the name used for its SUV line.

In Europe, the range includes Fengon SUVs such as the 500, 580 and 600, alongside models bearing the Seres name, including the Seres 3 and Seres 5.

Which DFSK models appear in Europe?

The European Union range includes 12 model names, with registrations recorded from 2018 to 2025. The Fengon 580 has the longest recorded run, from 2018 through 2025, and the highest total: 3,302 registrations. The Fengon 500 follows with 3,301 over 2021–2025, while the Seres 3 recorded 2,424 from 2020 to 2025.

Other models include the Fengon 5, Fengon iX5 and Fengon 7, as well as the E5, Navor E5 and Fengon 600. Fengon and Seres appear in 2021; Seres 5 appears in 2023. The Fengon iX5 was registered from 2020 to 2024.

How did the range develop?

The timeline begins with the Fengon 580 in 2018. The Seres 3 and Fengon iX5 follow in 2020, then the Fengon 5 and Fengon 500 in 2021. The Fengon 7 appears in 2022, and the Seres 5 in 2023. The E5 and Fengon 600 join in 2024, followed by the Navor E5 in 2025.

The range has grown to include more Fengon SUVs and models carrying the Seres name. Each has its own place in the line-up; the names alone do not describe how their designs or technology differ.

Is there an electric DFSK?

DFSK is part of Seres Group, which has developed electric vehicles. The Seres 3 is an electric model, and the EU line-up also includes the E5 and Navor E5. Check the specifications of each version for its powertrain and official figures.

Where are DFSK figures available?

The registration figures here are for the European Economic Area. Fuel consumption and emissions results depend on the test procedure: European figures use WLTP or, for older vehicles, NEDC; the USA uses EPA testing, and Canada uses a five-cycle procedure.
