European route number

Identifies a road that forms part of the international E-road network.

This marker identifies an international E-road route. The E-number may appear alongside a national road number on direction signs.

Italy’s Fig. II 256 and Czechia’s IS17 use a rectangular green panel with white lettering. The letter E precedes the route number.

How it looks in each country

Official sign in each country; the code is its number in the national rules. Signs that come in two directions show the left and the right version.
