Pass either side
Mandatory signs

Pass either side

You may pass the obstacle on either side.

You may pass to the left or right of the sign or obstruction. The sign is used where traffic can travel on both sides of an island or other obstruction.

The United Kingdom's 611 is a blue circle with white arrows sloping down to either side. The United States uses W12-1, a yellow diamond with black arrows, as a warning sign; the routes may rejoin or lead in different directions.

How it looks in each country

Official sign in each country; the code is its number in the national rules. Signs that come in two directions show the left and the right version.
