You must go straight on.

Continue straight on where the instruction applies. If the sign applies to a particular lane, follow that lane's indicated direction.

A common design is a blue circle with a white upward arrow. The United States uses R3-5a, a rectangular sign with a black straight-ahead arrow and ONLY on white, to control movement from a lane.

How it looks in each country

Official sign in each country; the code is its number in the national rules. Signs that come in two directions show the left and the right version.
