    Component
THE CONNECTION BETWEEN FRONT AXLE SUSPENSION STRUT AND STEERING KNUCKLE COULD LOOSEN
    Defect
On certain vehicles the connection between the front axle suspension strut and the steering knuckle could loosen due to an insufficient preload force.
    Remedy
Carry out replacement of the suspension bolt (top and bottom / left and right) as well as the nut.
  3. High-voltage battery housing may corrode

Reported May 5, 2021Model years 2018–2019DVSA recall R/2021/039170 vehicles affected

Insufficient corrosion protection may allow the high-voltage battery housing to corrode. The housing will be inspected, cleaned and waxed; a battery module will be replaced if significant corrosion is found.

    Official DVSA recall text
    Component
THE CORROSION PROTECTION OF THE HIGH VOLTAGE BATTERY HOUSING MAY NOT BE SUFFICIENT
    Defect
The corrosion protection of the high-voltage battery housing may not be sufficient.
    Remedy

    Defect
The mounted suspension struts are not sufficiently reinforced
    Remedy
Replace the suspension struts with a sufficiently reinforced assembly
  5. Electric drive sensor fault may cause loss of propulsion

Reported September 3, 2020Model years 2018–2020DVSA recall R/2020/170368 vehicles affected

At high speeds, implausible rotary sensor signals may deactivate the drive unit power electronics, causing loss of propulsion. The power electronics control unit software will be updated.

    Official DVSA recall text
    Component
IMPLAUSABLE SIGNALS OF THE ROTARY SENSOR WITHIN THE ELECTRIC DRIVE CAN OCCUR AT HIGH SPEEDS
    Defect
Implausible signals of the rotary sensor within the electric drive can lead to the deactivation of the power electronics of the drive unit resulting in a loss of propulsion.
    Remedy
Update the software of the power electronics control unit.
  6. Electric drive connecting screws may be missing

Reported April 16, 2020Model years 2018–2019DVSA recall R/2020/06611 vehicles affected
