- Remedy
- Update the Vehicle Supervision Module software.
Fuel pipe may be routed incorrectly
An incorrectly routed fuel pipe may contact other components, causing a fuel leak or fire risk. The pipe routing will be checked and the pipe replaced if necessary.
Official DVSA recall text
- Component
- Risk of wrong fuel pipe routing
- Defect
- Affected vehicles may have an incorrectly routed fuel pipe at risk of contact with other components which could lead to a fuel leak or risk of fire.
- Remedy
- Check the correct routing of the fuel pipe and replace if necessary.

Official EU Safety Gate text
- Component
- Injuries
- Defect
- Interior door handles may deactivate when the key is in engine-running mode, which could prevent occupants from exiting the vehicle, potentially leading to injury in the event of an accident. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
- Remedy
- Recall of the product from end users
- Notes
- Notified by France
Automatic braking warning light may not illuminate
If the front camera is blocked, the automatic emergency braking warning light may not illuminate. The system operates in a degraded mode but remains functional with radar support. Vehicle system management software will be updated.
Official DVSA recall text
- Component
- VSM software missing AEB telltale in case of blind camera.
- Defect
- On certain DS vehicles the Automatic Emergency Braking Assist telltale fails to illuminate if the front camera is blocked. No AEB warning telltale meaning no warning light appears in the instrument cluster. An additional pop-up appears for around 10 seconds at each key on/key off (Driving Assistance Sensor Blind: clean sensor see User Manual). The Automatic Emergency Braking system is operating in a degraded mode but remains functional due to radar support.
- Remedy
- To rectify this issue we will update the Vehicle System Management software
Common rail nut may loosen and leak fuel
A mismatch in the common rail cone shape may cause the nut to loosen and leak fuel. Fuel vapour or liquid may reach the hot exhaust system and cause a fire under the bonnet. The recall remedy is to recall the product from end users.
Official EU Safety Gate text
- Component
- Fire
- Defect
- Vehicles fitted with a DV5R engine may experience a fuel leak. The non-conformity of the round shape on the cone of the common rail may cause the nut to loosen, resulting in the possibility of fuel leaking between the nut and the thread, leading to fuel vapours and fuel flow into the hot exhaust system. This may lead to a fire under the bonnet. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
- Remedy
- Recall of the product from end users
- Notes
- Notified by France
High-pressure fuel pipe connections may leak
Loose connections between the high-pressure fuel pipe and engine fuel rail may cause a fuel leak and fire risk. The affected connections will be retightened.
Official DVSA recall text
- Component
- DS Automobiles Fuel Pipe
- Defect
- On affected vehicles there may be loose connections between a high-pressure fuel pipe and the engine fuel rail which potentially could lead to a leak and risk of fire.
- Remedy
- Retighten the affected connections.
Fuel line may be damaged by ignition coil screw
The low-pressure fuel line may touch the ignition coil screw and become damaged, leading to a fuel leak and fire risk. The product is recalled from end users.

- The low-pressure fuel line may touch the screw of the ignition coil. This may damage the fuel line and eventually lead to a fuel leak, which, may cause the vehicle to catch fire. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
- Remedy
- Recall of the product from end users
- Notes
- Notified by France
Under-bonnet fuel pipe may leak
A weak crimp on the under-bonnet fuel pipe may cause a leak. The fuel pipe will be changed.
Official DVSA recall text
- Component
- DS DS4 Fuel Pipe Leakage
- Defect
- Affected vehicles may face potential leakage of the under-bonnet fuel pipe due to a weakness of its crimping.
- Remedy
- Change the fuel pipe.
Charging cable temperature sensor may be miscalibrated
