What is the Deepal S07?

The Deepal S07 is an all-electric SUV from Deepal, Changan’s electric-vehicle brand. Its SUV shape offers a raised driving position and a flexible cabin for everyday use. The S07 was designed at Changan’s European design centre in Turin and tuned at the company’s UK engineering centre.

The cabin centres on a rotating touchscreen, with an augmented-reality head-up display projecting information into the driver’s view. The S07 was among the Deepal models shown when Changan introduced its brands in Europe.

Engines and power

The EU registration figures list the S07 with an electric powertrain producing 160 kW (218 PS). Electric drive delivers power without conventional gear changes.

The EU figures list one version, which accounted for all 116 S07 registrations in 2025.

How economical is the Deepal S07?

The S07 is an electric car, so its energy use is measured in electricity rather than litres of fuel. European efficiency tests use WLTP, while some older vehicles were tested under NEDC. US EPA and Canadian five-cycle results use different procedures, so results across these markets are not directly comparable.

The EU registration figures show 116 S07 registrations in 2025, all for the 160 kW (218 PS) version.

Where was the Deepal S07 sold?

The S07 appears in the European Union’s 2025 registration figures. Changan showcased it during the European introduction of its Changan, Deepal and Avatr brands. Its European design work is based in Turin, with vehicle tuning carried out at the company’s UK engineering centre.
