Indicator failure warning may not appear
The body control module may not detect a failed indicator bulb, so its warning may not appear. This could reduce communication with other road users and increase accident risk. The recall asks end users to return the product.

- Defect
- Due to a mistranslation of the configuration data between two production systems, the vehicle’s body control module (BCM) may not be correctly configured to detect indicator light failures. If an indicator bulb fails, the BCM may not detect the fault and the warning signal may not illuminate, reducing communication with other road users and increasing the risk of an accident. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
- Remedy
- Recall of the product from end users
