What is the Alpine A390?
The A390 is an electric sport fastback with a sloping roof and a more spacious shape than Alpine’s compact coupé and hatchback models. It broadens the brand’s electric range with a body style designed for everyday use.
Alpine began in Dieppe and built its identity around French sports cars. The A390 carries that heritage into a new format, combining electric power with the fastback profile.
A390 generation
The first-generation A390 began in 2025 and continues today. It is Alpine’s first sport fastback and its second all-electric model, following the A290. The new shape expands the range beyond compact sports cars.
Electric power
EU figures list one electric A390 output: 295 kW (401 PS). UK figures list versions from 294 kW (400 PS) to 346 kW (470 PS). As an electric car, it has no petrol-engine displacement or fuel-consumption figure in litres per 100 km.
Where is the A390 sold?
The A390 appears in EU EEA registration figures for 2025, which record 90 cars, and in UK VCA figures for 2026. European WLTP and UK certification figures may use different test procedures, so efficiency results are not necessarily directly comparable.
