Reported September 1, 2026Model years 2019–2026DVSA recall R/2026/2362,391 vehicles affected

Inadequate welds at the ISOFIX attachment points may allow a bracket to fracture in a crash, increasing the risk of injury to a child. Do not use the ISOFIX points until an authorised dealer inspects them. Vehicles that fail inspection will be retrofitted or repaired.

    Official DVSA recall text
    Component
    165-ISOFIX
    Defect
For certain vehicles the ISOFIX mountings may have inadequate weld seams at the attachment points. In the event of a vehicle crash the forces transmitted through a child seat attached to the ISOFIX anchorages may cause the bracket to fracture resulting in an increased risk of injury to the child.
    Remedy
Vehicle owners are instructed not to use the ISOFIX attachment points until a technical inspection and if necessary a retrofit or repair has been carried out by an authorised dealer. Vehicles that pass the inspection may continue to be used; vehicles that fail will be retrofitted accordingly.
