Who is Adria?

Adria is a Slovenian maker of leisure vehicles, including caravans, motorhomes and campervans. It began in 1965 with the Adria 375 caravan, then expanded into motorhomes and campervans. Adria Mobil is part of France’s Trigano group.

The four names here are motorhome and campervan lines, rather than conventional passenger cars. They suit people who want a vehicle with space for both travel and living, from a campervan to a larger motorhome.

What are Adria’s main model lines?

The four lines are Coral, Matrix, Sonic and Twin. In European Union registration figures for 2022, Twin leads with 86 registrations, followed by Matrix with 62. Sonic recorded 25 and Coral 22.

Twin is Adria’s campervan line. Coral and Matrix are semi-integrated motorhomes, while Sonic is an integrated motorhome. Each offers a different approach to living space and layout.

How has the range developed?

Adria’s roots are in caravans. The company developed its first motorhome in 1982 and began making campervans in the 1990s. Coral joined the motorhome range in 1998, and Sonic, Adria’s integrated motorhome line, followed in 2010.

The four lines reflect Adria’s move from caravans into several kinds of motorhome and campervan. Coral and Matrix are semi-integrated, Sonic is integrated, and Twin is based on a van.
