Warning signs

Uneven road

The road surface ahead is uneven, so slow down and take care over bumps or damaged sections.

Reduce speed before reaching the rough surface and keep steering and braking smooth. The warning is normally placed before the uneven section.

Common triangular designs show a black road profile with more than one hump inside a red border. The United States’ W8-8 uses a yellow diamond bearing the words ROUGH ROAD.

How it looks in each country
