The entry sign sets a speed limit for the roads within the zone. Follow it throughout the area and look for the sign marking the zone’s end.
The common design shows a red-bordered speed-limit circle on a rectangular panel. Germany’s 274.1 adds the word ZONE beneath the circle.
Official sign in each country; the code is its number in the national rules. Signs that come in two directions show the left and the right version.
