Pedestrians

Pedestrians may be walking on or crossing the road ahead.

Watch for people walking along or crossing the road. Take particular care where there is no footway or visibility is poor.

The United Kingdom's 544.1 shows two pedestrians inside a red-bordered triangle with a white background. Sweden's A14 uses a red-bordered triangle with a yellow background.

How it looks in each country

Official sign in each country; the code is its number in the national rules. Signs that come in two directions show the left and the right version.
