Opening bridge

A swing or lifting bridge is ahead; be prepared to stop if it is open or traffic is held.

The sign is placed on the approach to a bridge that can open for vessels. Be ready to stop at any signals or barriers controlling access to it.

Poland A-13 and the United Kingdom 529 show a raised bridge inside a red-bordered triangle. Their backgrounds are yellow in Poland and white in the United Kingdom. The United States W3-6 is a yellow diamond with the words DRAW BRIDGE.
