Do not turn while the traffic signal is red, even where turning on red would otherwise be permitted.
Wait until the traffic signal permits the turn. Check any supplementary wording for times or conditions that limit the restriction.
The United States’ R10-11 is a white rectangular sign with a black border and the words NO TURN ON RED. It is normally installed near the relevant traffic signal.
