No left turn
Prohibitory and restriction signs

No left turn

Do not turn left at the junction or access indicated by the sign.

Do not make the left turn covered by the sign. It is normally displayed at or before the junction where the restriction applies.

A common European design is a red-bordered circle with a black left-turn arrow crossed by a red diagonal bar. Poland’s B-21 also prohibits U-turns. The US R3-2 places the arrow and red prohibition symbol on a square white sign.

How it looks in each country

Official sign in each country; the code is its number in the national rules. Signs that come in two directions show the left and the right version.
