Lane closed

A lane is closed ahead, so move into an open lane when it is safe and follow the marked route.

This sign warns that a traffic lane is closed ahead. Check which lane is affected and move into an open lane when it is safe, following any merge instructions.

The warning may use words naming the closed lane or a diagram showing the lane arrangement. Cones, barriers or temporary markings may guide traffic past the closure.
