Fog

Fog may reduce visibility ahead; slow down and leave more space to see and react.

This sign warns of a stretch of road where fog may reduce visibility. Reduce speed and increase the gap to the vehicle ahead when visibility is poor.

The United States W8-22 is a yellow diamond with the words FOG AREA. France AK32 is a temporary warning of fog or thick smoke, using a yellow triangle with a red border.
