Emergency vehicles may enter or cross the road ahead.

Watch for emergency vehicles emerging from a station or access road. Slow down and be ready to respond to their signals.

The United States W11-8 shows a black fire engine on a yellow diamond. It may be accompanied by a plate warning of emergency traffic signals ahead.
