Divided highway ahead
Warning signs

Divided highway ahead

The road ahead separates into carriageways divided by a central strip or barrier.

This warns that opposing traffic will be separated by a central reservation or barrier ahead. Follow the lane markings as you approach the divided section.

The United States W6-1 uses black opposing arrows and a central divider on a yellow diamond. The divider appears at the top of the diagram, indicating that the separation begins ahead.
