What is the SWM G05?
The SWM G05 is a family SUV with a spacious cabin and a seven-seat layout. It is one of the larger models in SWM Motors’ passenger-car range, with the raised stance and flexible interior expected of an SUV.
SWM began as an Italian motorcycle brand in 1971. Shineray acquired the brand in 2014, then brought SWM into the passenger-car market in 2016. The G05 joined the range in 2019.
Generations and engines
The first-generation G05, known by the code S401, dates from 2019 and remains in production. Updated forms include the G05 Pro, sold in China.
