Driver airbag inflator may rupture
Abnormal deployment pressure may rupture the driver airbag inflator and propel metal fragments into the passenger compartment. The inflator inside the driver airbag module will be replaced.
Official DVSA recall text
- Component
- DRIVERS AIRBAG INFLATOR MAY RUPTURE IF DEPLOYED
- Defect
- Abnormal deployment pressure may lead to rupture of the driver's air bag inflator case. In the event of an inflator rupture metal fragments could be propelled into the passenger compartment.
- Remedy
- On affected vehicles replace the inflator inside the driver's air bag module.
Brake assistance may be reduced or lost

Official DVSA recall text
- Component
- BRAKE EFFICIENCY MAY BE REDUCED
- Defect
- Brake assistance may be reduced or lost due to a manufacturing nonconformance. This could lead to longer stopping distances than the driver would normally expect.
- Remedy
- Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to check the servo and where necessary replace the servo unit.
Fuel pump relay may fail
The fuel pump relay may fail, preventing the engine from starting or causing it to stall. The relay will be checked and replaced if necessary.
Official DVSA recall text
- Component
- ENGINE MAY CUT OUT
- Defect
- The fuel pump relay may fail which will result in either the engine not starting or stalling.
- Remedy
- Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to check and where necessary place the fuel pump relay.
Engine may hesitate or stall
Air in the fuel strainer may be drawn into the high-pressure fuel pump, lowering fuel pressure. The engine may hesitate or stall. A redesigned fuel strainer will be fitted.
Official DVSA recall text
- Component
- ENGINE MAY STALL
- Defect
- The engine may hesitate or cut out due to air accumulating in the fuel strainer which is then drawn in by the high pressure fuel pump. This in turn results in low fuel pressure leading to hesitation illuminating MIL lamp on and possible stalling.
- Remedy
- Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and fit a redesigned fuel strainer.
