What is the EBRO S700?
The EBRO S700 is a family SUV in the middle of the marque’s range. It was among the first models in EBRO’s return to passenger car production in Spain, alongside the larger S800. Its raised body and practical cabin suit everyday driving around town and farther afield.
EBRO’s name dates back to Spain’s mid-century automotive industry. The marque has returned to passenger cars in partnership with Chery, with the S700 assembled at the EBRO Factory in Barcelona.
Generations
The S700 appears in European Union registration figures for 2024–2025, with petrol and plug-in hybrid versions.
Engines and power
The European range spans 1.5-litre and 1.6-litre engines, with outputs from 105 kW (143 PS) to 108 kW (147 PS). Buyers can choose petrol or plug-in hybrid power. The plug-in hybrid can use electric drive for part of a journey; the petrol version runs on its engine alone.
In EU registration figures, the 1.6-litre petrol version recorded 4,196 registrations, while the 1.5-litre plug-in hybrid recorded 2,356.
How economical is the EBRO S700?
The lowest listed WLTP consumption for petrol, diesel or hybrid versions is 7 L/100 km. The plug-in hybrid’s official weighted WLTP figure is 1.4 L/100 km. It assumes that part of the driving is electric, so it reflects a mix of electric and engine use.
WLTP is the European test procedure. US EPA and Canadian 5-cycle results use different methods, so the figures are not directly comparable. EU registrations for 2024–2025 total 6,552.
